One common question asked to be is how VSG Exports able to compete pricing with manufacturers and why don’t we have a factory?.

• There are different ranges of granite products such as tiles, smaller cutter slabs, gangsaw slabs, project orders and monuments available with us. Each of these product need different factory set up. When we set up gangsaw factory we will be restricted to export particular colors only. But we don’t want to limit our services. We are getting orders and inquiries for various other granite colors and we supply as per your requirement.

• Granite production is a huge operation that needs to have sufficient investment and other necessary resources in staff, factory, machinery and management. It is relatively impossible to set up factory for every granite color and manage it separately.

• Moreover, different granite colors are available in different parts. Normally units that are near to quarries have competitive pricing and access to quality rough material. So if we are setting up a granite gangsaw unit in one particular area, we will be restricted to only 2 to 3 colors that are available in that place and deprived of competitive pricing. This situation holds for other granite colors too.
• So if we are setting up factory we would be restricted to few limited colors. This won’t benefit any of our clients.

• Pricing is one biggest concern of all our customers and we are successful to source rough blocks at an affordable price than factory, it is all because of our relations with different quarries for many years. Quality inspectors ensure good quality and quantity of material. Moreover, we have reasonable profit share in all pricing that helps us to offer cheaper price.

• We have the experience with many factories, most are highly unorganized and they will not complete the order on time. Few fail to meet the quality requirement of clients.

• To run a successful granite factory, it is important to have sufficient resources and qualified managers apart from the right machinery. Very few companies will invest in it and most owners are unprofessional. Almost 3/4th of the factories don’t care about delivery or quality. Few are able to quote low price but fail to provide quality material and timely delivery.
